In 1973 the Lake County Sheriff’s Police FOP Lodge 66 opened it’s doors to sworn and retired police officers of various agencies within Illinois.
Lodge 66 actively donates money and merchandise to such charities and organizations as Special Olympics, thE WERTHy Foundation, Toys for Tots, Easter Seals, 100 Club of Chicago, Shop With A Sheriff and other various youth and charity programs.

Mark Vice II, was elected as the President of Illinois FOP Lodge 66 in December of 2019. In 2006 Mark was hired as a Deputy by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and completed his police training at PTI in Champaign, IL. Since 2006 Mark has served in the following units at the Sheriff’s Office – County Security, Highway Patrol, Lake County MEG, Lake County Honor Guard, and the Community Service and School Safety Team. In 2014 Mark became a union representative and is currently active in this position. Prior to Mark becoming a Lake County Deputy he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University.
